As part of Secondary Schools Action Day for Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship (ESDGC) and Eco-Schools issues, Fernanda Amaral provided an Afro-Brazilian Dance workshop. Patuá Dance’s Artistic Director Fernanda Amaral conducted meetings in Brazil, which went very well, with a strong possibility that Patuá Dance will return to Brazil in the autumn of 2009.

Funding success!

Patuá Dance has been busy applying for funding to support its many projects and is grateful for its recent successes, especially for the Arts for All Wales grant for its project “We Dance the Beautiful Game!” and an Arts Council of Wales grant for “Patuá DanceAbility”, which will premiere in Chapter Arts Centre this year.
