It was a success, with all the good weather helping to shine on the dancers’ colourful costumes. Patuá Dance once again caught the eye and smiles of young people and adults alike!
WOMAD Summer School

Fernanda Amaral ran three-day dance workshops at the WOMAD Bath summer school, culminating in an exciting performance with Billy Cobham, the famous ex-drummer of Miles Davies. At the end, the stage was pulsing with audience and performers dancing away!

Fernanda Amaral, Michael Harvey and Pedrão do Maranhão performed Era uma Vez! Interactive stories, dance and music from Brazil.
In spite of the miserable mud, the audience enjoyed the show and even danced in their wellies at the end!
